Shane Lopes grew up in Santa Barbara — surfing East Beach before school, biking through Hope Ranch on weekends, and watching the South Coast evolve over three decades. He graduated from Dos Pueblos High School and earned his degree from UCSB, never straying far from the stretch of coastline he calls home.
Before real estate, Shane spent nearly a decade in education — serving as Dean of Students and Head of Lower School at Laguna Blanca, one of Santa Barbara’s most respected private schools. That experience shaped how he approaches every client relationship: listen first, communicate clearly, put people ahead of transactions.
Shane holds his real estate license with Coastal Properties Real Estate, a boutique brokerage headquartered on Coast Village Road in Montecito. He specializes in luxury residential properties across the South Coast — from beachfront condos in the East Beach corridor to estate homes in Montecito, Hope Ranch, and the Riviera.
